Presbyterian Women of the Franklin Church have been an active force in the work of the church for many years. From hosting fellowship dinners and social hours, and serving bereavement dinners, to supporting missions overseas through mission sewing and financial support of the mission of Frances Landers in Haiti, Presbyterian Women provide time, talents, and money to further God's work in the world.
Presbyterian Women in the congregation are organized into small groups, called circles, that meet regularly to provide an inclusive, caring community of women. Circles are an integral part of Presbyterian Women and are encouraged to use PW resources to strengthen and enrich the community of faith.
A circle is:
* where faith is nurtured and growth takes place through worship, study, friendship and outreach
* where women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits
* where women move beyond the safe places of life and reach out to others
* where Christian leadership is born, nurtured, and sent forth into ministry

THE FRIENDSHIP RING PRAYER
Father, bless this Friendship Ring,
Keep us close in everything.
Shine on us Thy holy light,
Bless our left and bless our right.
Guard each word and guard each thought,
May they be just what they ought,
And may all we do and say be in Thine own holy way. Amen.
